Dr. Meehan is an entrepreneur who has designed and developed technology for personal health monitoring.
“My mission is to empower people with intelligent solutions for continuous remote and home measurement and monitoring of their health biomarkers using personal digital medical devices, smartphone technologies, and the internet. I create systems to collect and aggregate the resultant rich data sets and analyze them for correlations that reveal disease or dysfunction at its earliest stages.
I enable patients to share their information in a partnership with health care professionals so that best evidence is used to facilitate proactive and preventive health care. I transform raw data into user friendly, internet-enabled information dashboards that educate, inform, and motivate changes in behavior to lead to progressively improving health and fitness. This is a critical positive feedback system that transforms personal health by enabling self-awareness and self-regulation.”
